All patients require a referral from their GP to be able to book a specialist consultation or a procedure. Your doctor may provide you with a letter, or may choose to use our web site to send us an online referral and pre-book a date online for your procedure. You can also print a ‘GP referral form’, available on our web sites, to be completed by your GP. 

Your GP may have recommended that you are booked directly for a procedure and do not require a consultation first. This is known as an ‘open access referral’. Open access patients have a consultation with Mr on the day of their procedure, they complete the consent form, followed by their procedure. Patients may request a separate consultation with Mr prior to the date of your procedure. 

Once you have a GP referral you can contact us (03 8803 0502) and we will provide you with further information and support. Hospital admission forms, information about your procedure, and bowel preparation will be mailed to you.
